Novar is a detached 19th century crofter's cottage on the
edge of Taynuilt Village. It is very typical of the type of property
that Crofters once lived in, although it now comes with all mod
cons, including central heating and is extremely comfortable. Having
been recently upgraded, it still has many original features which
include wood panelling and an open hearth fire place in the lounge.
To the rear of the property are level and private gardens which
have a quite stunning views of Ben Cruachan And Ben Starav, see
the adjacent photo for details! There is ample driveway parking
to the front, and Taynuilt village centre is only a pleasant fifteen
minute walk away, where on offer are a good range of shops, the
village pub and the Station.
Novar has a spacious and comfortable lounge with an original
coal fire place, perfect for those cold winter nights, or even chilly
summer evenings. It is a bright room with windows to both front
and rear. There is a three piece suite, a colour television and
a dining table and chairs.
The kitchen is accessed from the lounge and is fully equipped with
cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, immersion heater
and washing machine. The bedroom is complete with double bed and
original wood panelling, a very traditional setting, perfect for
those romantic evenings.
Electricity, bed linen and duvets included.
Novar is the perfect base from which to explore the Western
Highlands. Daily boat trips on magnificent Loch Etive. Shingle beach
1/2 a mile away, fishing, golfing, diving, gliding, Rare Breeds
Park, Sea Life Centre all within easy reach. Shop & Village
Pub 1/2 mile.
