Achbeag is a charming mini-cottage
which was originally a barn, and is positioned at the foot of a
country lane with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Achbeag is a real home from home, brimming with charm and character,
spotlessly clean, comfortable and very cosy. Everything you need,
and a perfect base from which to explore the delights of the Scottish
Highlands.
The main apartment is a comfortable, bright room with a window to
the front offering aspects towards the mountains, and two Velux
windows to the rear, and if you are lucky enough to be in Achbeag
while it is raining, the gentle sound of the rain on the windows
is very therapeutic. There is a dining table with chairs, a television,
two very comfortable armchairs, and a very easy to use pull down
wall bed which is enormously comfortable. Achbeag is heated by electric
storage heating which keeps the cottage nice and toasty, even during
the coldest of Scottish Winter Nights.
There is a well equipped kitchen complete
with cooker, microwave oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, and washing
machine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery, ideal for anything from
a quick snack to a banquet. The shower room has a three piece suite
with shower cubicle and an electric shower.
Electricity, bed linen and duvets included.
There is ample parking to the front,
and Taynuilt village centre, complete with a selection of shops,
village pub and station is only ten minutes walk away. Perfect for
a summer or winter vacation.
